MN: a day in the life: June 2007

all in a day's work

it's summer in Minnesota and i seem to have forgotten just how hot it can get! to keep the kids cool @ work, we spend most mornings swimming in kiddie pools and playing water games.

(and yes, i do (barely) get paid for this!)

Thanks for making a pitstop in Cloud town. It was SO great to see you, even though it just made me miss you even more. Wish we lived closer - or were even in the same time zone. Let's start thinking about a fall trip to Vegas & the Grand Canyon. You've only been gone a week and already I need another dose of YOU! :) Enjoy the rest of your Minnesota-summer. We spent the last weekend catching up on some family time at the lake. Lots of sun, fishing and partying....and of course lots of work around the new house. We are so lucky to have this fantastic retreat. Many more pictures of future lakeside fun to follow...

New suMMer JoB

Here are some pics of the kids at my temporary summer job @ a local daycare. The kids are FAntAstiC & amazingly independent and industrious. It's been a great experience so far and almost makes me miss working with little tykes at the elementary level. This summer is shaping up to be one of relaxation and enjoyment and a refreshing change from working with university students. Enjoy the cute pics! :)
