Matsushima

This is Part 1 of my post on my trip to Sendai w/ the Sasaki family. The first day was spent at Matsushima....a group of some 200 small 'islands' that make up a bay near Sendai. The 'islands' are really beautiful because they have such unique formations and the contrast of the blue water, green trees and white rock give claim to it being one of Japan's 'Top 3 most scenic destinations'. We really enjoyed being out on the water as the temps were soaring near 90+...i know i know MN temps are SO much worse right now...no sympathy from you guys!

All of this fishing, boating and swimming is making me MiSS Minnesota! T-9 days & counting!
