Ocean's 1

Today was my first day of *ocean* fishing. The Hikages (above) took me out in their sweet boat for a ride, some fishing and bird feeding. My first 'sea' fishing debut was just a couple days ago,..and ocean fishing is quite different. The technique and bait are much different and the water was surprisingly more calm. Although Yuriko-san still got motion sickness...

accepted my fish donation as omiyage!

I even got to drive us home! Yikes, driving a car in Japan is scary, but a BOAT doesn't require reading any signs in Kanji...so it was much easier than braving the roads! THANK YOU HIKAGE'S! It was SOOOOOOO much fun!
