Okonai Elementary...all 24 of 'em. No teary goodbyes, just a really sweet day with some great kids. I told them not to be sad about saying sayonara, but to be happy we had so many great hangouts this year. Not sure if they caught the gist of it, but it makes me feel better to think of it like that!

fifth and sixth graders. SO impressive! they knew how to write their names in Romanji and had all prepared several interview questions for me IN ENGLISH! びきりした！すばらし！
